Privacy Policy

ADX is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust, and accordingly maintains the following privacy policy to protect personal information you provide online.

Websites and Services Covered by this Privacy Policy

The ADX Privacy Policy covers http://www.adx.com and all conical domain variations, but specifically excludes our ADX Desktop Software services and eSupport customer support tool. This privacy notice applies to everyone about whom ADX collects information online, regardless of the country in which they may reside.

Types of Information Collected

Websites covered under this privacy policy collect two kinds of user information: Personal information, such as your name, company name, postal and email address or telephone, and Passive or behavioral information, such as your Internet Service Provider, length of site visit, geographic location, and browser version.

How and Why We Collect Information

ADX only collects personal information when you initiate communication with us via a web form or via email correspondence to email addresses listed on the sites covered by this policy. We collect your personal information in order to respond to your inquiry. Site visitors must disclose some personal information in order to access certain parts of our website. Refusing to provide such information may make you unable to view parts of the website. Passive or behavioral information is collected on our websites via cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. Refusing to accept our website’s cookies may reduce website functionality and make some features unavailable. We collect your broad demographic behavioral information in order to compile statistics that show overall website visitor traffic, including the daily number of visitors to our sites, the daily requests for particular downloadable files, the geographic location of our visitors, and to track marketing campaign results. ADX uses these statistics internally to improve site design and performance.

What We Do With Your Information

It is ADX policy that personal information, such as your name, company name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Your personal information will never be used for purposes other than that for which it was submitted. ADX agents or contractors may have access to personal information and have agreed to hold this information in confidence, not to use for any purpose except to carry out the service they are providing ADX, and honor ADX privacy and security policies in the way this information is handled. These agents and contractors may have different privacy policies than ADX. Agents and contractors include web development firms, fulfillment houses, telemarketing firms, and general marketing firms.

The websites covered under this policy may associate such passive or behavioral information with your personal information, such as cookies, but only if you specifically share your personal information with us. For example, if you respond to an ADX marketing effort by visiting a specific part of our web site and requesting information, we will associate your behavior information with that request in order to ensure that we can properly respond to your request. ADX may merge personal information with data from agents or contractors in order to respond to your request.

Security Measures

ADX is committed to online data security and strives to ensure that the personal information you provide is stored in a secure location. ADX has implemented logs and physical and electronic security measures to monitor access to your information. Your personal information is accessible only by individuals that are aware of and instructed to uphold the guidelines set forth in this privacy policy. Your information is only accessible to individuals who need it in order to perform their jobs.

How to Opt-out or Access Your Information

All ADX web site marketing efforts include an opportunity to opt-out of said marketing effort. Your information is not available to you in a retrievable online form, however if at any time you seek to remove your name from any ADX-related marketing efforts, access and/or correct your personal or behavioral information, or opt-out of transferring your personal information to an ADX agent or contractor, you may do so free of charge. Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Website so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and how we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Let’s face it – the way we conduct commerce can be pretty wasteful, especially when it comes to paper. Think about how much your business prints, faxes and mails then multiply that by millions and you get a taste for just how much is used each year.

Producing paper requires enormous inputs of trees, water and energy causing deforestation and pollution. Growing demand results in millions of acres of forest loss each year. Some industry leaders have taken progressive steps towards sustainable paper production. They recognize the importance of being environmental stewards, and support the practical–not wasteful–use of their paper products.

Thankfully, there are proven solutions available now that will let you retire the paper wasters–like the fax machine–once and for all.
